DR. JONATHAN RONES

Jonathan Rones

Dr. Jonathan Rones knows from nearly 25 years of experience that a healthy smile is the key to a happy life. In his decades of interactions with patients, he has seen the indelible difference good oral health has on patients.

Dr. Rones graduated from the University of Maryland in 1990 with a BA in anthropology focusing on historical archaeology. As part of his studies, Dr. Rones went on archaeological excavations in Maryland and Israel. Dr. Rones graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1995 with a DDS. He completed a one-year general practice residency in Albany, New York, under the auspices of Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Rones moved to Colorado in 1996. He spent his first five years here as an associate dentist and went on to have his own private practice for 16 years. In recent years, he decided to focus more on patient care and stepped back from his role as a practice owner. Since 2016, Dr. Rones has worked in private offices and in nursing facilities and joined Dr. Greenstein in 2019. Dr. Rones believes learning is a life-long process and reinforces his knowledge while constantly increasing his skills. Dr. Rones takes 30 to 40 hours of Continuing Education every year through the Colorado Prosthodontic Society and the Rocky Mountain Dental Convention.

Dr. Rones is an avid baseball fan and closely follows his beloved New York Yankees. He is also a big fan of college football and basketball. His favorite time of year is spring when he can indulge in both spring training and March Madness. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children and taking advantage of all Colorado has to offer. He especially looks forward to summer vacations in Glenwood Springs.
